This is my third and final, meaningful blog. Maybe I'll do more in the future; I'm just now getting the feel for this thing.....sort of "behind the times". What I've recently learned is that while working full-time, and being on a computer for 7 to 12 hours, sometimes non-stop, the last thing I wanted to do was to get on a computer for ANY reason. What this did was to limit the expansion of what new things were happening with technology. Hopefully, I'm turning the corner!

Well Vic, "no", Facebook doesn't rule my life, thankfully! I'm old-fashioned and enjoy using the old, regular e-mail and telephone. I don't even like cell phones that much!

All I hear on the news is how terrible our school system is. "It's broken." "The teachers are in a union and they're horrible and we can't get rid of them." These are just a couple of examples of what I hear. After completing my second year as a substitute teacher, I am easily able to tell what sort of home life a student has. This then leads me to think 'is it the schools' fault for Johnny not performing well? Or does it have to with the parents/guardians? It's not a "black and white" issue.....tell me what you think.

Stop blaming the schools!!
